Terms & Conditions Information

Orders will be either:

a) Payment in advance
b) 50% Deposit and balance COD
c) 50% Deposit and Balance Net 15 or 30 Days

Net 15 to 30 day payment terms may be authorized to pre-qualified companies after a proper credit check.

In support of academia, Harlow Scientific extends payment terms of Net 30 days to most schools and hospitals.

Purchases through third party leasing companies are accepted.
Prepayment is required for all international sales.

Warranty Information

All equipment sold by Harlow Scientific is inspected, refurbished to factory specifications, and typically warranteed for a minimum of 90 days for parts and labor beginning on the date of receipt. Exceptions may be made for items brokered from a third party, or that are agreed to be sold with a lesser warranty or as is to reduce the price between Harlow Scientific and the customer. Should an item not work properly during the warranty period, Harlow Scientific will either repair and/or replace the defective part(s) or the item itself.

Shipping Information

All shipping is F.O.B. Arlington, MA, and will be shipped via UPS or a national trucking company. Employees of Harlow Scientific may deliver local orders.

Harlow Scientific will take reasonable steps to protect the equipment during shipment, and the equipment will be fully insured when shipped by Harlow Scientific. The customer will be charged for all shipping and handling charges, and fees incurred in the process of delivering the order.

Customers may make pick-up arrangements through their own preferred carrier.

Return & Cancellation Information

Harlow Scientific will authorize the return and issue a full refund for any equipment that is not working as represented, or could not be repaired to the customer's satisfaction during the warranty period, except where due to user negligence. The customer will be responsible for proper packaging of the equipment and all included accessories. Harlow will pay for insured return delivery.

Customers who cancel orders after refurbishing has begun or after delivery where there are no equipment performance issues will be subject to a 20% Restocking Fee and responsible for 100% of Shipping & Handling costs for both the delivery and the return.
